Warhol inspired Wedding Favors

Aren't these the coolest wedding favors?!
As I mention in a previous post... I got married in the beautiful Museum of Art in Roslyn, NY. The idea of having our wedding at a museum was because we wanted something truly different. A lot was due to my love for art and because I am an artist myself.  However, it was a done deal as soon as my husband told me we could have original Andy Warhol paintings on the dancefloor walls.
As soon as we knew this was the place we were are going to get married at, I started to sketch a couple of great ideas for our wedding favors. I think we did an amazing job! What do you think?

My Wedding Day Pictures

May 3rd, 2009 at the Museum of Art in Roslyn, Long Island
The most exciting day of my life!  The day was perfect, it was raining but it could have been snowing and I don't think I would have noticed. We were so excited for this day to finally arrive, we were also very excited to have original Andy Warhol's around the dancefloor on our wedding day! It was one of the reasons why we even thought about having our wedding at the Museum to begin with. Our caterers had a delightful menu, fabulous dessert and a great helpful staff. I had also designed my own wedding cake and this young talented pastry chef put it together. I had designed everything for my wedding, from the wedding cake to the invitations, ceremony programs, table cards with silver easels and place cards. I even made Andy Warhol inspired wedding favors which included 300 matchbooks with mints in them and awesome Warhol CDs for our guest to listen to on the way back home.  We had the most amazing time, we were on the dancefloor all night! My husband also had a special surprise for me, he brought out one of my favorite singers to sing a song I love and play all the time. Her name is Kimblee and she sang her song "Fade" like no other, she also impressed our guests by singing her own rendition of "At Last" which made Beyonce sound like a baby in a stroller. I would say she was pretty much up there with Etta. ;-)  The whole night was everything we both imagined for our wedding to be.  AMAZING!

Here are some pictures that I wanted to share with everyone.
Please enjoy and thanks for visiting GlambrideNYC!
